In 1997, a woman in Bradenton, Florida lost her cat. In 2004, she got a call from the local animal shelter. The cat turned up wandering the streets in San Francisco, California. The cat's identity was proven with a microchip that had been implanted prior to 1997.

The movie company Warner Brothers threatened to sue Groucho Marx, leader of the famous Marx Brothers comedy team, for giving his newest film the title A Night in Casablanca because it was too similar to their Bogart-Bergman film Casablanca. In response, the ascerbic Groucho growled back, "I'll sue you for using the word ‘Brothers'."

The world's largest book, "Bhutan: A Visual Odyssey" is in a Chicago public library. The book measures 5 feet tall by 7 feet wide when open. It weighs 133 pounds. (Thats just over 60 Kilograms talk about heavy reading )

An employee of the Alabama Department of Transportation installed spyware on his boss's computer and proved that the boss spent 10% of his time working (20% of time checking stocks and 70% of the time playing solitaire). The employee was fired, the boss kept his job.
